Job summary

Toptal is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise ServiceNow implementations across ITSM, ITOM, and CSM. This hands-on role emphasizes real platform depth, with requirements and user stories executed against defined business needs and governance standards.

You'll collaborate with product and delivery teams, leverage Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and MID Servers for integrations, and contribute to Now Assist, Virtual Agent, and CSDM initiatives while

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on enterprise ServiceNow development experience (8+ years in Information Services overall preferred).
• Advanced JavaScript skills for ServiceNow scripting (Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Actions).
• Strong communication skills for client and delivery team collaboration.
• Ability to work independently against predefined requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CSM and other modules.
• Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and MID Servers.
• Write advanced JavaScript for scripting and customization.
• Follow upgrade-safe, OOTB-first practices with Flow Designer.
• Collaborate with product and delivery teams on requirements.
• Contribute to platform-architecture initiatives like Now Assist and Virtual Agent.
• Support platform governance and security hygiene.
