Job summary

ABB E-mobility is seeking a senior technical support professional to lead remote services and mentor a team of specialists. You will cultivate trusted customer relationships, manage SLAs, and drive continuous improvement across electrical systems and software environments.

The role emphasizes global collaboration, field service coordination, and growth through new service opportunities, upgrades, and partnerships within the EV charging ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, or a related technical discipline.
• 3–4 years in a technical engineering, field service, or technical support role.
• Experience leading or mentoring technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical and customer-facing contact, building trusted relationships.
• Lead and coordinate remote support activities, prioritizing resources by complexity and impact.
• Drive service excellence by ensuring timely case resolution and SLAs.
• Coach and mentor a team of technical specialists.
• Support local teams and service partners with installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Identify customer needs and opportunities to grow service through upgrades and agreements.
• Champion continuous improvement across products and cross-functional teams.
