Job summary

ABB E-mobility is seeking an E-mobility Service Coordinator to ensure reliability and performance of our EV charging infrastructure. You will coordinate service activities, support field engineers, and act as a primary contact for customers.

This hybrid role is open to candidates located anywhere within Virginia. You will collaborate with Service, Engineering, Sales, and Product Management to drive customer satisfaction and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical/engineering field with 3+ years in service coordination or project management.
• Excellent communication, organization, and multi-tasking in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with SAP, Salesforce, or CRM platforms; English proficient.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer service requests, inquiries, and service calls, ensuring timely resolution and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and schedule field service activities, including technician assignments, spare parts, logistics, and required resources.
• Serve as a communication hub between customers, field service teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure service activities are delivered in accordance with contractual commitments, SLAs, and customer expectations.
• Create, manage, and monitor work orders from quotation and planning through completion and closure.
• Evaluate service requests, determine priority and scope, and assign the appropriate service category (project, demand, campaign, or warranty).
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and timely system updates to support operational excellence.
• Adjust schedules and priorities as business needs change, proactively communicating updates to all stakeholders.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve service performance, identify growth opportunities, and support business objectives.
• Share field service insights with Product Management and Sales teams to drive continuous improvement and enhance customer solutions.

Qualifications for the role

• Associate Degree in a technical or engineering discipline and 3+ years of experience in a Service Coordinator, Project Management, or similar role. In lieu of a degree, candidates with a High School Diploma and 6+ years of relevant field service coordination experience will be considered. A Bachelor's degree is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across different systems and data management tools
• Self-motivated and proactive, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in the electrical industry; knowledge of the EV charging industry is highly desirable
• Proficiency in business systems such as SAP, Salesforce, CRM platforms, and other operational tools is preferred
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
