The Hanover is seeking a Senior Technical Property Adjuster to independently manage highly complex field property claims. This remote, full-time role requires advanced investigation, evaluation, and negotiation with minimal oversight and occasional travel on short notice.

Responsibilities include leading investigations, assessing coverage, consulting with legal and underwriting teams, and mentoring junior adjusters. Strong Xactimate skills and regulatory knowledge are essential for success.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience; typically 8+ years in the industry.
• Fluent in Xactimate with level 3 certification or ability to obtain.
• Strong knowledge of local geography, regulations, and safety agencies.
• Excellent negotiation and decision-making with litigation and compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate highly complex field property service claims, including CAT responses.
• Lead investigations, assess coverage, and issue reservation of rights and letters.
• Collaborate with experts to evaluate claims and determine value.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and communicate complex information clearly.
• Mentor junior adjusters and contribute to training initiatives.
• Set reserves and authorize payments within authority.
• Maintain detailed claim records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Travel on short notice as required.
