Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Senior Patient Access Specialist to work remotely within Mountain or Pacific Time zones. This role coordinates referrals, documentation, and patient onboarding for infusion services across the United States.

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate discharge coordination, guiding patients through upfront payments or financial assistance options, and supporting ongoing denial management and documentation processes as part of a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities at one time.
• High degree of customer service skills required.
• Detail-oriented with strong quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate discharge with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy, and nursing.
• Prepare and obtain all required documentation for new referrals.
• Assist patients with upfront payment and help explore payment options or financial assistance.
• Support clean claims on hold and denial management through follow-up on missing paperwork.
• Assist Supervisor/Manager with special assignments and back up for Lead Specialist.
• Communicate opportunities for process improvements and present resolutions.
