Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to join a remote team serving California. The role coordinates referrals, intake documentation, and cross-functional communication to ensure seamless access to infusion services.

You will work with referral sources, sales, pharmacy, nursing, and internal teams to support timely access to therapy and a high-quality patient experience. This is a 6‑month contract with potential extension.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and manage referrals/priorities.

Responsibilities

• Engages with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery.
• Creates, communicates and obtains all required documentation for new referrals.
• Secures patient's upfront payment and directs to financial assistance if needed.
• Supports ongoing claim/denial follow-up and paperwork completion.
• Assist Supervisor/Manager with special assignments.
