Option Care Health, Inc. in California is seeking a Patient Access Specialist who will coordinate referrals, intake documentation, and cross-functional communications to ensure a smooth transition into infusion care.

You will work with referral sources, sales, pharmacy, nursing, and internal teams to support timely access to therapy while delivering a high-quality patient and referral partner experience. The role requires a high school diploma, at least two years of related experience, and the

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years of related experience.
• Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities at one time.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be detail-oriented and have a high degree of quality focus.
• High degree of customer service skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve and collaborate with cross-functional team members across sales and operation functions.

Responsabilidades

• Engages with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery.
• Creates, communicates and obtains all required documentation for new referrals.
• Secures patient’s upfront payment including assisting patients to find avenues for payment where needed (identifies opportunities and directs patient to financial assistance program).
• Supports the ongoing activities needed to ensure clean claims on hold and denial management (follow-up on paperwork where missing).
• Assist Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed.
