Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division is seeking a Senior Outside Sales Engineer. This is a remote/home-based position, and candidates must reside within the northern Indiana area of the United States to be considered.

In this role you will develop relationships with customers and channel partners, execute sales plans, review plans and specifications, and present bids while collaborating across product lines and operations to deliver customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or commercial field and 3 years of experience.
• Legal to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to reside in the northern Indiana area.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with key customers and channel partners to grow business.
• Execute sales plans to meet performance targets.
• Review and interpret customer plans and specifications.
• Prepare bids and quotations per company guidelines.
• Collaborate with product lines, operations and other stakeholders.
• Monitor market conditions and inform product teams of competitive activities.
• Assist training of channel on Eaton products and tools.
• Collect and analyze market intelligence to drive data-based decisions.
• Provide planning, interpretation, quotation and technical support.
• Plan promotional events with distributors to achieve sales goals.
