The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of IP PCS experience and holds a CCS certificate, with preference for some OP coding exposure. Start date is immediate; full-time W2 employment with a 100% remote setup.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of IP PCS coding experience.
• CCS certificate is required.
• OP coding experience is a plus (3 years preferred).

Responsibilities

• Examine the complete medical record to determine principal/secondary diagnoses and procedures.
• Sequence diagnoses and procedures accurately with high quality and 95%+ accuracy.
• Aim for optimal DRG assignments with computer-assisted support.
• Maintain steady productivity and coding quality.
• Halt or request information when necessary for accurate code/DRG.
• Keep current on coding guidelines and share knowledge with colleagues.
• Complete assignments as directed by management.
• Pursue continuing education and professional growth.
• Collaborate as a team to meet department and client goals.
• Perform related duties or special projects as assigned.
