GovCIO is hiring an Infrastructure Security Lead for a US Coast Guard program. The role is fully remote within the United States, focusing on securing and operating resilient infrastructure. You will lead security architecture, ICAM, and ATO efforts and partner with IT and DevOps teams.

Required are 12+ years in information security, 3–5 years in leadership, and a active Secret clearance with CISSP certification. The position includes strong governance and incident response responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive information security experience.
• 3–5 years in a leadership/lead role.
• Clearance required: active Secret clearance is needed.
• CISSP certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mature security posture across network security, ICAM, boundary protection, and ATO programs.
• Design, implement, and operate secure, compliant, and resilient infrastructure.
• Develop and execute a strategic security roadmap aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Own security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments.
