Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an Infrastructure Security Lead for a US Coast Guard program. This fully remote role in the United States requires a CISSP and active Secret clearance, with 12+ years of information security experience and 3–5 years in leadership.

Qualifications

• 12 years of progressive information security experience.
• 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Clearance required: Must be clearable up to an active Secret clearance
• Certification Required: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
• US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain active Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mature our security posture across ICAM, network security, and compliance programs.
• Partner with technology, governance, and operations teams to design, implement, and operate secure infrastructure.
• Lead design, implementation, and operation of security controls including network security, policy, risk management, and auditing.
• Own security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments for new and existing infrastructure.
• Establish and maintain security incident response, detection, and recovery capabilities; lead major security incidents and post-incident reviews.
