Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an Implementation Client Consultant for a fully remote role in the U.S. You will own the implementation experience for large clients, guiding onboarding, training, and first payroll processes while collaborating with the Implementation team.

Experience in payroll/HR and strong leadership are required. Travel up to 80% will be necessary, with on-site visits and coordination of client engagements to ensure successful deployments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll, benefits or as a payroll/HR/Benefits Administrator.
• Successful experience in escalations and at-risk client retention efforts.
• Proficient in SQL, MS Access or Excel.
• Ability to present HR data effectively.
• Possesses strong leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for complex clients onsite.
• Assist in prospective client efforts—virtual or on-site—to understand needs and deliver solutions.
• Manage each client’s onsite visit with tailored agendas and follow-up.
• Lead onsite planning with stakeholders to determine needs and logistics.
• Support setup and maintenance of clients in Implementation during high volume periods.
• Use a project management approach to promote integrated implementation across products.
• Facilitate entry of previous payroll provider data.
• Maintain SME knowledge of Paylocity products and partnerships.
• Deliver training and provide payroll support and retention efforts onsite.
