Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Manager Implementation Ops to lead and mentor the Implementation Support team, ensuring payroll and HR platform setups meet client SLAs. You will guide staff performance, resolve complex client issues, and collaborate with Learning & Development to close training gaps.

The role is 100% in-office, with offices in Rochester, NY and other locations; remote work is not offered. A strong focus on coaching, process improvement and cross-functional collaboration is required to

Qualifications

• 2 years of management experience; experience in team development and workflow in a matrix environment is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Strong mathematical ability and aptitude to learn payroll software.
• Excellent troubleshooting ability for payroll issues.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent listening and communication skills; 100% client satisfaction is priority.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Implementation support staff with coaching and performance feedback.
• Handle escalated client issues with prompt, courteous service.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure policy consistency.
• Assess training needs with Learning & Development and close gaps.
• Hire interview and manage staff performance; drive departmental goals.
• Plan resources with the Department Director and schedule workloads.
