Job summary

MedWatch is seeking a remote, senior Concierge/Customer Service Representative Floater to service health benefits inquiries, precertification, and case management within the Concierge and Intake departments.

This critical role requires excellent customer interaction skills, confidentiality, strong data entry, and the ability to negotiate with providers. A minimum of two years in healthcare customer service is expected; bilingual skills are a plus. Pay ranges from $19.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service/call center experience in a health care related role.
• Medical intake experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to telephone and email inquiries from members and providers within defined service standards.
• Negotiate with providers to gain plan acceptance without network agreements.
• Assist members with benefits and healthcare questions.
• Document all calls in the system-based log.
• Handle all incoming precertification calls and related tasks.
• Make outgoing calls for demos and case completion information.
• Complete incoming electronic Web-certs.
• Verify patient and provider demos for accuracy.
