Job summary

MedWatch in the United States is seeking a senior Concierge/Customer Service Floater to expertly handle health benefits inquiries, precertification, and member outreach. You will respond to calls and emails, coordinate with providers, and support both Concierge and Intake teams to resolve complex cases.

The role requires excellent communication, discretion with sensitive information, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of health care customer service or call center experience.
• Associate degree or higher preferred but not required; High School Diploma or GED accepted.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with discretion on confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Respond to telephone and email inquiries from members and providers within defined service standards.
• Negotiate with providers to gain acceptance for plans without network agreements and/or out of network providers.
• Assist members with benefits and healthcare questions.
• Document all calls in the system-based call log.
• Handle all incoming MedWatch precertification calls (start cases, log calls, provide case status).
• Make outgoing calls for information for case completion and redirection for network steerage.
• Complete incoming electronic Web-certs.
• Verify patient and provider demos - correct and/or complete when needed.
