Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Sr. FSE Engineer (Java/Python) to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native enterprise applications on AWS.

You will build RESTful APIs and microservices, integrate AWS services, and ensure performance, security, and maintainability in collaboration with DevOps, QA, and Architecture teams. The role supports remote work for qualified US applicants, preferably based in NJ or TX, with flexibility to align with client needs and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Python development.
• Proven experience with AWS Cloud Services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, RDS).
• Solid RESTful API design and microservices architecture knowledge.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-team collaboration skills.
