Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Civil Infrastructure Specialist to drive strategic planning and design of complex municipal projects from a distance. You will work with a distributed team, providing expert input to ensure successful delivery of resilient urban infrastructure.

This role requires a PE registration, a Master's degree in Civil Engineering, and 8+ years of municipal design/management experience, with strong GIS skills to support water, sanitation and stormwater projects.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Civil Engineering with infrastructure specialization.
Pr.Eng registration with ECSA (or equivalent).
8+ years of municipal infrastructure design/management experience.
Experience in water resource management, stormwater design and sanitation systems.
Strong GIS and spatial planning tool proficiency.

Responsibilities

Develop and oversee comprehensive civil infrastructure plans (water, sanitation, stormwater).
Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments and impact analyses for new developments.
Prepare design documentation, specifications and tender packages.
Coordinate with remote project teams, clients, authorities and stakeholders.
Ensure designs meet regulatory, environmental and sustainability standards.
Provide technical guidance on infrastructure solutions in a virtual environment.
