Placements24 is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer to guide a fully remote team on diverse infrastructure projects from conception through execution. You will define technical direction, review complex designs, and ensure adherence to industry standards across distributed teams.

The role requires 8+ years in civil engineering, a PE license or equivalent, and expertise in structural, site, transportation, or water resources projects, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.
• PE license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Expertise in structural analysis, site development, transportation engineering, or water resources management.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of civil engineering projects, ensuring technical integrity and compliance with standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of remote engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive virtual environment.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation in coordination with project managers and stakeholders.
• Conduct thorough site analysis and feasibility studies for new projects, utilizing remote sensing and data analysis tools where applicable.
• Stay abreast of new technologies, materials, and methodologies in civil engineering and construction to drive innovation.
