Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Civil Infrastructure Specialist to drive strategic planning and design of complex municipal projects from a distance. You will work with a distributed team, providing expert input to ensure successful delivery of resilient urban infrastructure.

This role requires a PE registration, a Master's degree in Civil Engineering, and 8+ years of municipal design/management experience, with strong GIS skills to support water, sanitation and stormwater projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with infrastructure specialization.
• Pr.Eng registration with ECSA (or equivalent).
• 8+ years of municipal infrastructure design/management experience.
• Experience in water resource management, stormwater design and sanitation systems.
• Strong GIS and spatial planning tool proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee comprehensive civil infrastructure plans (water, sanitation, stormwater).
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments and impact analyses for new developments.
• Prepare design documentation, specifications and tender packages.
• Coordinate with remote project teams, clients, authorities and stakeholders.
• Ensure designs meet regulatory, environmental and sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
