Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Civil Engineer to lead delivery of complex infrastructure projects. Based in an East London setting, you will oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with clients and contractors.

The role requires a Pr Eng registration with ECSA, at least 9 years of civil design and delivery experience, and strong leadership to mentor engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project delivery.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is essential.
• Proven experience leading large-scale infrastructure projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Expertise in project management software and a strong understanding of contract administration.
• Excellent communication, leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and project management of civil infrastructure projects (roads, earthworks, drainage).
• Oversee feasibility, detailed design, and construction supervision through lifecycle.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure profitability and timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Mentor and guide a team of civil engineers and technicians.
• Serve as primary liaison for clients, contractors, and regulators.
