Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Strategic ACO Contract Manager to lead complex provider contracts and manage the full lifecycle—from negotiation to renewals—across hospitals, physician groups, and healthcare providers in a remote role in the United States.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in healthcare contracting, strong negotiation and financial modeling skills, and expertise in value-based methodologies and ACO arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in healthcare contracting or provider operations.
• Proven success negotiating healthcare provider contracts.
• Strong financial acumen and data analytics for risk-based contracting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of value-based contracting and ACO arrangements.
• Legal and contractual understanding of complex agreements.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, and evaluate provider contracts aligned with financial objectives.
• Oversee contracts from initiation through renewal, amendment, and closure.
• Maintain contract language, fee schedules, and reimbursement terms.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and senior contracting leaders.
• Resolve provider concerns and manage contractual disputes for long-term partnerships.
• Assess network performance and identify cost, quality, and service improvements.
• Contribute to network development and provider-facing marketing initiatives.
• Develop innovative ACO and value-based contracting arrangements.
• Evaluate complex financial arrangements and operational impacts to find viable solutions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align contracts with business priorities and regulations.
• Perform other duties to support contracting objectives.
