Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of professional involvement in reliability validation or hardware testing for robotics, unmanned platforms, or automated vehicle systems.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical, Systems, Electrical, or Robotics Engineering.
• Hands-on capability with CAD and shop tools; proficiency with environmental chambers, vibration tables, and DAQ systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement validation strategies, using Python scripts for automation and bespoke test fixtures.
• Oversee experimental execution across internal facilities and external laboratories; manage vibration, environmental, DAQ testing.
• Translate reliability requirements into metrics for mechanical, electrical, and software components; lead FMEA and FTA sessions.
• Lead forensic investigations into hardware failures via FRACAS; drive design iterations to prevent field issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate sensor performance, software reliability, and HIL environments.
