Job summary

DoorDash Labs is seeking an experienced technical operator to lead testing, deployment, and operational validation of autonomous technologies. You will partner with engineering, product, and operations to ensure safe deployment, thorough evaluation, and actionable engineering feedback.

As a senior member of the Development Testing Operations team, you will shape testing practices, mentor teammates, and elevate how we validate autonomous systems in real-world environments.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5+ years of experience in autonomous systems testing, robotics operations, technical operations, or similar environments.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale testing or deployment programs from planning through execution.
• Experience debugging, triaging, and resolving cross-functional technical issues.
• Experience defining operational standards, testing methodologies, or scalable processes.
• Strong collaboration with engineering, product, and program management teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end testing programs across multiple engineering initiatives.
• Define and evolve testing methodologies, standards, and quality frameworks.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to influence product readiness and launch decisions.
• Drive investigations through root cause analysis across hardware, software, and operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process optimization and automation.
• Establish metrics and translate data into strategic recommendations for product quality.
• Mentor senior operators and elevate technical talent within the team.
• Provide guidance during high-priority testing efforts and cross-functional decisions.
