Job summary

Macy’s is seeking a Senior Reliability Maintenance Technician to sustain and improve our fulfillment center equipment. You’ll diagnose and repair robotics, conveyors, and distribution systems, applying mechanical, electrical, and software know‑how.

You will train technicians and lead maintenance in the supervisor’s absence to keep products moving safely and efficiently. You will collaborate with operations and maintenance teams, documenting work in CMMS and driving continuous improvement in

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years direct maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting expertise.
• Experience with automated conveyors or material handling equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and equipment docs.
• Proficient with CMMS and handheld devices.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain advanced automation and material handling equipment.
• Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Serve as SME for equipment and maintenance processes.
• Coach and mentor maintenance technicians.
• Lead maintenance activities in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Document work and manage parts inventory using CMMS.
• Drive continuous improvement in reliability, safety, and efficiency.
