Job summary

Macy's in Henderson, NV is seeking a Senior Reliability Maintenance Technician to keep our fulfillment center running at peak performance. You will troubleshoot and maintain automation, robotics, conveyors, and distribution equipment.

This hands-on SME role requires diagnosing complex issues, conducting preventive and corrective maintenance, mentoring technicians, and driving safety and continuous improvement across the operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of direct maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting expertise.
• Experience maintaining automated conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
• Ability to diagnose complex equipment issues using mechanical, electrical, and control system knowledge.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of motors, drives, sensors, and related controls.
• Experience using CMMS.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to mentor less experienced technicians and communicate effectively.
• Excellent English communication; flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain advanced automation, control systems, robotics, and material handling equipment.
• Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize performance.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for equipment and maintenance processes within the facility.
• Coach and mentor maintenance technicians, providing guidance and technical support.
• Lead maintenance activities in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Respond quickly to equipment issues, diagnose root causes, and implement solutions.
• Utilize CMMS to document work, manage equipment records, and track parts inventory.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve reliability, safety, and efficiency.
• Perform facility maintenance activities including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and welding as needed.
• Promote safety, collaboration, inclusion, and respect throughout the operation.
