Job summary

Macy's is seeking a Senior Reliability Maintenance Technician to apply mechanical, electrical, and software skills in a fulfillment center environment. You’ll act as SME for equipment, perform predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance to maximize uptime, and mentor shift technicians.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues with automation and MHE, wiring and control systems, and using CMMS to plan proactive maintenance while ensuring safety standards and efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Mechatronics Technology or 4+ years of industry experience.
• Multiskilled in electrical and mechanical disciplines in automation environments and/or robotic operation.
• Strong knowledge of PLC-based controls systems.
• Experience using CMMS to plan proactive maintenance and document tasks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for Automation and MHE maintenance in a distribution center.
• Coach and mentor technicians on shift.
• Support supervisor and lead the shift in their absence.
• Troubleshoot and repair to maximize equipment availability.
• Install, repair, and test electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
