Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Senior Reliability Engineer to shape the next generation of power systems, including Power, Wind, and Electrification. You will drive modeling, simulations, and architecture decisions, coordinating with customers and partners to deliver reliable energy solutions.

You will lead reliability studies, develop models, and guide cross-functional teams to meet aggressive performance targets while engaging with executive stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business from an accredited university.
• 12+ years of professional engineering or reliability experience.
• 5+ years in engineering or technical consulting, with at least 2 years leading teams.
• 5+ years delivering technical or strategic solutions with executive exposure.
• 3+ years performing formal reliability studies (FMECA, RCA, FTA, RAM).
• 3+ years using BlockSim for reliability modeling; MAPS or MARS preferred.
• Ability to travel a minimum of 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and propose power generation architectures with simulations.
• Develop and maintain reliability models for complex power solutions.
• Lead equipment coordination modeling for maximum uptime and efficiency.
• Translate availability and SLA expectations into electrical configuration and protection requirements.
• Support LCOE and reliability requirements with actionable inputs.
• Perform reliability-centered simulations to derisk integration.
• Lead onsite generation report definition and customer meetings.
