Job summary

ATS is seeking a Senior Reliability and Controls Maintenance Technician to diagnose, stabilize, and optimize complex production systems on site in Pennsauken, NJ. You will program and troubleshoot sophisticated control systems, apply predictive maintenance techniques, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires an Associate degree with a technical concentration or 7+ years in the field, strong electrical/mechanical skills, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with technical concentration plus 7 years related industry experience, or 10 years applicable experience.
• Proficiency with predictive maintenance technologies including vibration analysis and laser interferometry.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems; capable of diagnosing and repairing.
• Willingness to travel as needed; Six Sigma experience is a plus.
• Physical ability to perform required tasks in a loud factory environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, stabilize, and improve equipment performance on high-value assets.
• Program, analyze, and troubleshoot complex control systems.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and capture cost savings.
• Source parts and propose engineered alternatives to reduce downtime.
• Independently execute maintenance tasks per industry standards; maintain 5S.
• Operate machining tools to fabricate/repair components and weld when needed.
• Maintain CMMS histories, analyze trends, and support sales quotations.
• Mentor junior technicians and potentially act as project manager.
