Job summary
Advanced Technology Services (ATS) in Wisconsin seeks an experienced maintenance professional to perform expert-level break-fix and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize complex control systems, while guiding junior technicians and documenting procedures for knowledge transfer.
The role requires robust knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems, with hands-on tooling, PLCs, and motion control experience.
Qualifications
- GED or high school diploma.
- Associates degree with technical focus or 15 years of related experience.
- Broad understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers and motion control devices.
Responsibilities
- Perform expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.
- Identify parts and service needs; source and evaluate alternatives to improve reliability and cost.
- Set up and operate machining tools and perform welding as needed.
- Lead maintenance optimization with customers and train junior staff.
- Document work and produce technical manuals for equipment upgrades and automation.
- Follow safety policies and maintain awareness of hazardous conditions.
