Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to perform expert level break-fix and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment. The role involves programming, troubleshooting complex control systems, and applying predictive technologies to assess equipment condition and drive proactive maintenance.

The successful candidate will lead continuous improvement activities, source parts, and document CMMS history while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 7 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 10 years of experience in specific industry.
• Proficiency in predictive technologies including vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations, precision alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze the problem, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs.
• Must be able to use hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

• Performs expert level break-fix & preventive maintenance, and complex mechanical/electrical repairs.
• Programs, troubleshoots and analyzes complex control systems to resolve software/hardware problems.
• Utilizes predictive equipment and interprets results for analysis and proactive maintenance.
• Leads CI activities and drives cost savings using CI tools and methodology.
• Identifies and sources parts and repairs, suggesting engineered solutions.
