Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Associates degree with a technical focus and 7 years of related experience, or 10 years in the industry.
• Proficiency in predictive technologies including vibration analysis and laser interferometer operations.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems; can analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Must be able to use hand tools and specialized tools.
• Travel may be required.
• Six Sigma experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Performs expert level break-fix & preventive maintenance and designs improvements for mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Programs, troubleshoots and analyzes complex control systems and related hardware/software issues.
• Uses predictive methods to assess equipment condition and perform proactive maintenance.
• Leads CI activities and documents cost savings and process improvements.
• Identifies and sources parts and repairs; may operate multiple machining operations as needed.
• Trains less-experienced technicians and may assume project manager responsibilities.
• Follows 5S and safety policies and maintains accurate CMMS records.
