Job summary

ATS, a leader in industrial maintenance, seeks a seasoned technician to perform expert break-fix and preventive maintenance on complex mechanical and electrical systems. You will design improvements, troubleshoot controls, and drive continuous improvement projects with a focus on reliability and safety.

The role requires strong knowledge of vibration analysis, laser interferometry, and predictive technologies, plus ability to train others and operate multiple machining tasks when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 7 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 10 years of experience in specific industry.
• Proficiency in predictive technologies including vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations, precision alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Must be able to use hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• May be required to travel.
• Six Sigma experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Performs expert level break-fix & preventive maintenance and design improvements for mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Programs, troubleshoots and analyzes complex control systems to resolve software/hardware issues.
• Uses predictive maintenance methods like infrared thermography and vibration analysis for condition monitoring.
• Leads CI activities focusing on cost savings and process improvements.
• Identifies parts and repairs, suggesting engineered solutions for reliability.
