Job summary

Advanced Technology Services is seeking a skilled maintenance technician in New Jersey to perform expert level break-fix and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment. The role requires proficiency in vibration analysis, laser interferometry, and predictive maintenance techniques, with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree with a technical focus or 7–10 years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in vibration analysis and laser interferometer operations.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Ability to use hand tools and specialized tools.
• Willingness to travel.
• Six Sigma experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert level break-fix and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment as required.
• Program, troubleshoot and analyze complex control systems.
• Utilize predictive technologies to assess equipment condition and perform proactive maintenance.
• Lead CI activities to achieve process improvements and cost savings.
• Source parts and suggest engineered solutions to improve reliability.
• Perform maintenance per industry standards and update CMMS records.
• Follow 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Train and coach junior technicians and support project management.
