Job summary

Qualus Corporation is seeking experienced Relay Testing Professionals at Level III, Senior, and Lead levels. This role focuses on commissioning and testing protection and control schemes for utility substations and plants, including IEDs, SCADA interfaces, and remote media converters.

Travel to client sites is required. The position offers incentives and career development with strong mentorship, and relocation/travel benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ relay testing and commissioning in substations.
• Engineering or military training may substitute for direct relay experience.
• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Red-lines design documents in single-line, AC/DC, wiring, and BOM.
• Perform end-to-end testing of protection and control schemes.
• Test IEDs manually and with automated test sets.
• Identify risks and develop test plans and risk assessments.
• Lead tasks and provide technical leadership on projects.
