Qualus is seeking experienced Relay Testing Professionals in the Field Engineering department who will commission and test protection and control schemes for utility substations and plants across the US. The role covers IEDs, SCADA interfaces, and related media, with significant travel and on-site duties.

Level III, Senior, and Lead roles require strong mentoring abilities, technical excellence, and experience with test equipment like Doble 6150, Omicron, and Manta.

Formación

• 5+ years’ experience in relay testing and commissioning in substations.
• Experience reading One Line, AC & DC Elementary and Wiring diagrams.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Eligible to work in the US (citizens or TN visa holders).

Responsabilidades

• Red-lines design documents throughout the drawing set (Single Line, AC/DC Elementary, Wiring, Panel Arrangement, BOM).
• Performs End-To-End testing.
• Performs IED testing with automated test sets (Doble 6150, Omicron, Manta) for protection & control schemes.
• Identifies risks associated with testing and commissioning those schemes.
• Develops test plans and risk assessments for protection & control systems.
• Leads tasks within a project or provides technical and people leadership on defined scopes.
• Performs weekly site safety inspections.
• Supports company and customer policies and procedures.
