Job summary

Qualus Corporation is seeking experienced Relay Testing Professionals at the Level III, Senior, and Lead levels in the Field Engineering department. The role covers commissioning and testing of protection and control schemes for utility substations and plants, involving IEDs, SCADA, and IEC-61850 interfaces.

Responsibilities include end-to-end testing, risk assessments, and leading project tasks. A strong background in relay testing plus field experience is required, with travel to client sites

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relay testing and commissioning in substations.

Responsibilities

• Red-lines design documents throughout drawings (Single Line, Wiring, BOM).
• Performs End-To-End testing of protection and control schemes.
• Tests IEDs manually and with automated test sets.
• Identifies risks in testing and commissioning.
• Develops test plans and risk assessments.
• Leads tasks within projects and provides technical leadership.
• Performs weekly site safety inspections.
