Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Sr. Relay Technician to be the technical lead for protection and control systems at substations and industrial sites.

You will perform advanced testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project execution while guiding field teams and maintaining safety and reliability. The role requires deep knowledge of protection schemes, strong communication with customers, and the ability to manage complex projects from planning through closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in electrical/electronic technology or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• NETA I/II/IV certification preferred.
• Experience installing, maintaining, testing, or repairing protective relays in substations.

Responsibilities

• Lead job site safety briefings and enforce safety policies.
• Analyze protection schemes and perform testing and commissioning.
• Lead field teams and coordinate project execution.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and as-built documentation.
