Job summary

RRC Power & Energy, LLC seeks a Relay Settings Engineer to design and optimize protective relay settings for transmission, distribution, substations, and renewable facilities. This role supports coordination studies, fault analysis, and protection scheme reviews across utility and industrial power systems.

You will use ETAP, ASPEN, SKM, CAPE, and similar tools while collaborating with utilities, project managers, and field teams to ensure accurate settings, complete documentation, and compliant

Qualifications

Bachelor-level degree in electrical or renewable energy engineering is required.
Master's degree preferred in related field.
5+ years in relay settings, protection and control, or power systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and calculate protective relay settings for transmission, distribution, substations, and renewables.
Perform relay coordination, short circuit studies, and fault analysis.
Support design, implementation, and review of protection schemes.
