Qualifications
- Pre-employment drug screen required for safety sensitive position.
- Satisfactory criminal background check.
- Overtime and travel willingness.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Hands-on experience installing, maintaining, testing & repairing protective relays in transmission/generation/distribution substations.
- Capable of troubleshooting distribution and transmission controls circuits.
- Knowledge of relay test software.
Responsibilities
- Lead job site safety briefings and mitigate hazards.
- Enforce safety policies and champion a strong safety culture.
- Use Human Performance Error Reduction tools to improve reliability and reduce risk.
- Analyze protection schemes for power circuits and system components.
- Perform installation, commissioning, testing of substation control circuits.
