Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager to lead complex accounts, partnering with sales to position Ascensus as the client’s provider of choice. You will drive satisfaction, retention, and revenue by building strong relationships with day-to-day administrators and C-level executives.

The role requires 15+ years in retirement industry client relationships, a bachelor’s degree, and ASPPA/CEBS certifications preferred. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 15+ years of retirement industry experience with 7–10 years in client relationship management or equivalent.
• Certification or working toward ASPPA, CEBS, or similar is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with C-level decision makers and plan administrators to identify needs and improve plan operation.
• Coordinate across business lines to meet client expectations across the organization.
• Act as liaison to ensure service delivery aligns with contractual requirements.
• Lead and participate in onboarding and ongoing administration to deliver as discussed in RFPs.
• Monitor client accounts and service deliverables, coordinating with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with CAM and PEC to meet client needs and drive satisfaction and retention.
• Promote satisfaction to enable retention and organic growth through cross-selling opportunities.
