Job summary

Mutual Bancorp and its Subsidiaries in Massachusetts is seeking a Relationship Banker III at a Cape Cod 5 Retail Banking Center. In this customer-facing role, you will handle daily transactions, inquiries, and problem resolution while mentoring RB I and II teammates.

You will introduce and cross-sell deposit and consumer loan products, build trust, uphold confidentiality, and participate in meetings. Strong attention to security and compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years banking experience.
• Ability to mentor RB I and RB II team members.
• Ability to independently complete transactions and platform services.
• Strong judgement and customer service mindset.
• Adherence to laws, regulations and bank policies.

Responsibilities

• Develops rapport with customers and greets them by name.
• Provides excellent customer care for daily transactions and inquiries.
• Performs deposits, loan payments, check cashing and money orders.
• Safeguards customer confidentiality.
• Complies with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Participates in Banking Center meetings and coaching.
• Handles opening/closing activities of the Banking Center.
• Advises on deposits and consumer loan products to meet needs.
• Identifies referrals to other lines of business.
• Maintains knowledge of Bank products/services; seeks development as needed.
• Assists customers with home equity and other consumer loan applications.
• engages in community groups/volunteering.
• Performs other duties and mentoring RB I/II staff as needed.
