Job summary

The Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker I in Massachusetts to deliver exceptional customer care at a full-service Cape Cod 5 Retail Banking Center location. You will assist customers with banking transactions, respond to inquiries, and help resolve issues on site.

Ideal candidates have six months of cash handling and customer service experience, and are prepared to develop product knowledge while adhering to laws and policies.

Qualifications

• Associates or better.
• High School or better.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required).
• Eligible for Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration.
• Eligible for Notary Public commission.

Responsibilities

• Develops rapport with customers, greeting customers by name, understand account ownership types and authority, being responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution.
• Provide excellent customer care to customers relative to daily transactions, addressing inquiries, and problem resolution, in accordance with Bank policies and procedures.
• Performs basic banking transactions including processing deposits and loan payments, verifying cash and endorsements, check cashing, money orders and treasurer’s check issuance and savings bond redemption.
• Safeguards customer trust by upholding duty of customer confidentiality.
• Works to develop knowledge of the Bank’s products and services, requesting assistance for further development needs.
• Must comply with all required laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
