Job summary

Mutual Bancorp and its Subsidiaries is seeking a Relationship Banker I at our Cape Cod 5 Retail Banking Center in Mashpee, MA. You will handle daily banking transactions, assist customers with inquiries, and support problem resolution in a full-service center.

The role emphasizes building customer relationships, acquiring product knowledge, and adhering to bank policies. Education includes a preference for a Bachelor’s degree with eligibility for NMLS and Notary Public commission.

Qualifications

• Six months cash handling experience preferred.
• Six months customer service experience preferred.
• Prior customer relationship building experience.
• Cyber security awareness.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills.
• Cyber security awareness to protect the digital environment, Bank, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Develops rapport with customers, greeting customers by name and understanding account ownership types.
• Provide excellent customer care relative to daily transactions, addressing inquiries and problem resolution.
• Performs basic banking transactions including deposits, loan payments, cash verification, endorsements, money orders and savings bond redemption.
• Safeguards customer trust by upholding confidentiality.
• Develop knowledge of Bank's products and services; seek assistance for development needs.
• Must comply with all laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Timely completion of learning activities.
• Participate in Banking Center meetings and coaching sessions.
• Engage in community groups and events.
• Additional duties as assigned.
