First Merchants Corporation in Wabash, IN seeks a Senior Client Relationship Representative to deliver high-quality service, process transactions, open accounts, and assist with loan applications while identifying opportunities to meet clients' financial needs.

You will manage relationships, balance cash and teller duties as needed, lead by example in sales, onboard clients to digital banking, and mentor teammates, all while upholding regulatory and security standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year banking, sales, or related experience; 6 months selling products/services.
• S.A.F.E Act registration required at employment and must meet NMLS qualification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional client experience by handling complex service and relationship needs in a fast-paced banking center.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, understanding clients’ financial situations and recommending integrated solutions.
• Act as a point of escalation for advanced client inquiries and ensure timely resolution.
• Strengthen client relationships using insights to build loyalty and advocacy.
• Maintain accurate client records to support relationship building and onboarding.
• Lead by example to achieve sales goals and support banking center scorecard performance.
