First Merchants Corporation is seeking a Senior Client Relationship Representative to join our banking center team. You will deliver high-quality service, handle complex client needs, open accounts, and process loan applications while identifying opportunities to grow deposits, loans, and digital banking adoption.

In this role you will maintain accurate client records, mentor junior staff, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and contribute to achieving individual and team sales goals

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 1 year banking or sales experience and 6 months selling products or services.
• S.A.F.E Act registration via NMLS required within 3 months of hire.
• Notary Public designation obtainable.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• In-depth knowledge of bank products/services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a consistently exceptional client experience by handling complex service needs in a fast-paced banking center.
• Act as trusted advisor by discussing clients' financial situations and recommending integrated solutions.
• Open new consumer and business accounts and process loan applications with accuracy.
• Lead teleconsulting activities and document activity in CRM to support sales goals.
• Mentor and coach junior staff and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
