Job summary

Santander is seeking a Banking Center Senior Relationship Banker in Old Lyme, CT to support the Banking Center Manager in achieving sales, service, and profitability goals. The role involves assisting with day-to-day operations and mentoring team members to deliver excellent client experiences.

You’ll handle routine banking transactions, assist with account openings, and network to build relationships while working within bank policies and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years customer service and needs-based banking sales experience preferred.
• 0-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of all products and services.
• Keeps current with all systems used for branch transaction processing.
• Demonstrates strong customer service skills and the ability to support teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assists Banking Center Manager with sales, service, P&L management, operations and staff development.
• Assumes responsibility for the banking center in the Manager’s absence and ensures exceptional client experience.
• Responds to customers’ needs by processing routine banking transactions and opening accounts.
• Build COIs by networking and prospecting to propagate the bank brand.
• Use lead management tools and Salesforce to document activities.
