Job summary

Santander Bank, N.A. seeks a Banking Center Senior Relationship Banker in New Britain, CT. This role drives sales, delivers superior service, and oversees branch operations in the Banking Center Manager's absence.

You will deepen client relationships and coach staff to cross-sell a range of bank products to boost market share. The candidate will ensure audits are met, maintain knowledge of products, and collaborate with segments to support growth while maintaining exceptional client experiences.

Qualifications

• Education: H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Advanced degrees (Associates and/or Bachelor's).
• 3-4 years customer service and needs-based banking sales experience preferred.
• 0-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of all products and services.
• Keeps current with all systems used for branch transaction processing.
• Demonstrates strong customer service skills and teamwork.
• Ability to travel to various Banking Centers within the regions.
• Certifications: No Certifications listed for this job.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales, service and operation goals for the Banking Center.
• Assist with completion of required audits and ensure compliance with laws and bank policies.
• Provide mentorship to colleagues and coach others in sales and service processes.
• Open accounts and process routine banking transactions accurately.
• Build COIs by networking and prospecting to propagate the bank brand.
