Job summary

Santander Bank, N.A. is seeking a Banking Center Manager to lead branch sales, service, and operations. You will supervise in the manager’s absence, coach staff, and drive cross-selling initiatives while maintaining an exceptional client experience.

You will collaborate with teams, ensure compliance, and support audits. Travel within the region may be required, with a focus on delivering superior results and customer care.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years customer service and needs-based banking sales experience preferred.
• 0-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of all products and services.
• Keeps current with all systems used for branch transaction processing.
• Demonstrates strong customer service and teamwork.
• Ability to travel to various Banking Centers within the regions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Banking Center Manager with sales, service, P&L, operations and staff development.
• Assumes responsibility for the banking center in the Manager’s absence and ensures exceptional client experience.
• Achieve/exceed individual sales, service and operations targets.
• Process routine banking transactions and assist with opening accounts.
• Build COIs by networking and prospecting to propagate the bank brand.
• Document activities with lead management tools (e.g., Salesforce).
• Support segmentation strategy to grow branch profitability.
• Assist with audits and operational standards.
• Ensure compliance with laws and bank policies; meet branch evaluations.
• Mentor colleagues on sales and service processes.
