Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced Senior Regional Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager to partner with regional operations, drive policy execution, and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations. You will lead continuous improvement to reduce ergonomic risk and build a strong WHS team across fulfillment centers.

You will mentor WHS professionals, perform risk assessments, analyze safety metrics, and communicate safety priorities to site leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years leading safety or environmental programs in operations.
• Experience managing people and performance across regions.
• Travel up to 50% and willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for local/regional regulations and company WHS policy.
• Provide guidance to ensure compliance with WHS policies.
• Analyze WHS metrics and incident trends to allocate resources.
• Lead and mentor WHS teams across multiple FCs.
• Develop leadership and bench strength for future needs.
• Drive continuous improvement through Kaizens with Ops teams.
