Job summary

Amazon seeks an experienced Senior Regional Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager to partner with regional operations, execute WHS policies, and ensure compliance with local, regional, and federal regulations. Lead a team of safety professionals and drive continuous improvement to reduce ergonomic risks and maintain a safe working environment for Associates.

The role requires building trust with cross-functional teams, delivering clear safety communications, and guiding leadership on EH&S

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 7+ years in safety and/or environmental programs.
• 7+ years in people and performance management.
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and relocate if needed.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME of local and regional regulations and company WHS policy.
• Provide guidance to ensure compliance with all WHS policies.
• Measure regional performance and fix deficiencies.
• Maintain WHS data integrity and provide accurate reporting and metrics.
• Deliver on-time, quality projects to Operations.
• Analyze WHS metrics and incident trends to allocate resources.
